MOMENTS at KAPORAL

2008

THE DOUBLE
-WAISTBAND

Always on the move, our creativity shows in the details. And thinking outside the box led us to invent double-waistband jeans.

2014

UPCYCLING:
KRTJ.

2014, and we took the lead once again as pioneers in upcycling. Our Kaporal Recycle Ton Jean initiative has enabled us to repurpose your old jeans by collecting them in our stores (1 donated pair of jeans = a voucher for €20). It's been an undeniable success.

Extend

Denim.

In 2015, Kaporal continued to innovate in terms of materials and unveiled a collection of stretch jeans with up to 40% elasticity: Extend Denim. A tribute to generations on the move: flexibility, zero constraints.

Our muse, Lil Buck, the American contemporary dance artist, embodied this freedom of movement in two campaigns for us.

2016

Made
in France:
Jean de Nîmes.

We will never be like other denim brands. But we are like everyone else in some ways: we wanted our sourcing and manufacturing to be more eco-friendly. We also wanted to revive a French cultural legacy: denim fabric, from the city of Nîmes. And we were among the first in France to relaunch this approach in 2016 by launching the Made in France line, Jean de Nîmes.

UPCYCLING
YOUNG
DESIGNERS

2017. We carried on affirming our commitment to the environment by offering a capsule collection in 100% upcycled denim, conceived by a young designer and produced in the Marseilles-based workshops 13 A'TIPIK. Since then, we have been working with a new talent every year to highlight denim, upcycling and young designers.

Eco-friendly
Denim:
Bleu Impact.

Reducing our impact, again and again.Since 2019, our Bleu Impact range has embodied our vision of eco-friendly denim. Jeans that respect natural resources, especially water. At each stage of the design and manufacture of our Bleu Impact jeans, we are committed to producing better: from the origin of the fibres to the indigo dye, we opt for processes that use very little water, recycle cotton and polyester fibres, and that eliminate micro-plastics from our jeans.
