FREESTYLE FOOTBALL CHAMPION.

 
At Kaporal, we have a saying: "never insignificant, always flamboyant". We showcase individuals who step outside the box, and own their difference. "Outside the box" is our new meeting place, in the form of portraits of the people who inspire us. These individuals are from different worlds: sport, fashion, art, volunteer groups... and they are shifting the rules within their respective fields. We love it. Working in partnership with Kourtrajmé Marseille, the film school that trains new talents, we present to you the first gallery of portraits.

It all started with a double injury to the cruciate ligaments. Pola Gomez was predestined for a classic football career, but fate decided otherwise. During his convalescence, Pola discovers a still little known discipline: freestyle football. An artistic and sporting discipline which consists of linking technical figures combining acrobatics and choreography, while juggling with a ball. The one who saw herself giving up football, which she had practiced since the age of five, then fell in love with the freestyle ball. In four years, the young Iséroise from Trept experienced a meteoric rise. Now a professional, Pola continues to perform, commercials (In 2019 she was selected by Fifa to shoot in a spot for the Women's World Cup) and shows. As comfortable with a ball as in front of the cameras, Pola also leads a parallel career as a model. We were dazzled by the sporting and human qualities of this young girl, already Top 8 in the world and Vice-Champion of France in Football. Watching her juggle with so much lightness and skill remains one of our best moments in Hors Cadre.
